My approach is embodied and somatically oriented, relational and collaborative. It is informed by attachment theory and human development, as well as feminist, anti-oppressive, and systemic frameworks. I have extensive experience working with individuals with complex (relational and developmental) trauma, addictions and psychiatric diagnoses; survivors of sexual and gendered violence, and childhood adversity.

I enjoy supporting people through transitions - pregnancy, birth, parenting and beyond. These transitions are beautiful, challenging, and often evocative; they bring opportunities to explore and transform intergenerational patterns, making way for new opportunities for growth and healing for both ourselves and future generations. This can lead to more alignment of values and belief systems with actions and behaviours.

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and an assistant in SE professional trainings. Somatic Experiencing™ is a neurophysiological approach to resolving trauma and other physiological stress responses. Becoming more connected through embodiment practices has been life changing for me, both personally and professionally.

I am committed to my own lifelong professional development and personal healing and have a deep appreciation for the vulnerability and courage of this process.
